In September 2018, the high school created the resident training of the 3PE platform: L e BTS Internal Combustion Engines (MCI) . This training aims to train motorization experts. Consequently, it relies on partnerships with manufacturers such as INSA, IFSTTAR, Renault Trucks and Segula. In addition, the 3PE platform makes it possible to address new engine technologies in order to ensure opportunities, professional and further study for students. They will be employable by car manufacturers. But also by all engine manufacturers, equipment suppliers, oil companies, and even public companies. Finally, graduates will be able to integrate a Professional License or a preparatory class for the grandes écoles (INSA, ISAT, ENSAM, etc.).

During the inauguration, the students performed demonstrations.

Among others, on the AUTOSCAN asynchronous machine bench which allows road cycles to be carried out (ECE-EUDC, WHTC …) and to make students aware of the parameters influencing vehicle performance and emissions.

The competition is not forgotten with single cylinder engine benches with programmable SODEMO computer. Also available cylinder pressure measurement as well as a FLOWSCAN cylinder head blower.

This inauguration is the conclusion of many months of investment between all the project partners.

Also, the ribbon cut by Jean-Luc Fugit, Patrice Gaillard, Franck Pelissier and Marc Gohlke symbolizes the beginning of the 3PE adventure.
